The only criticism I have against your argument is financial responsibility for the unwanted child. Men are still financially responsible for the provision of a child they co-created, even if they've said for 10 years they didn't want a child because they didn't take responsibility for their repeoductive potential. Men don't get to have it both ways here. Either get snipped, double and triple up on birth control during those high fertility days or abstain from vaginal sex during that time.
It is not the woman's responsibility to reasonably account for your sperm, it is the man's. She's only reasonably responsible for her eggs.
Far too many men play fast and loose here and then cry foul.
