The ones that make it onto the media circuit, become political content creators, or into Congress? Absolutely. There's a tendency towars douchebaggery. For sure. Listen to these dudes speak. It's wild the ridiculousness that falls out of their mouths on the regular.

Behind the scenes, it's seems like they're getting a lot of pressure from their corporate overlords to kneecap Biden because he's been so successful with progressive policies. More than they're happy with. They don't 4 more years of him chipping away at their feudal paradise.
Biden had been the most successful progressive president in decades. That can not be debated.
When you look at the political landscape over my lifetime, here's what you see. The country has become increasingly conservative, right leaning, and in decline. A couple of decisions starting with the Supreme Court (like making Corporations "people") have set the stage for a return to neofeudalism.
These corporations are organized, hoarding, vicious, rapacious fiends. They could be mafia. That's a fair analogy. They're the mafia made legal.
To keep the public pacified, they've moved slow and every once in a while they'll promote a candidate for the peasants to rally behind when the stresses build up and they start clammoring for change. But they own that candidate or they promote the stupid types who failed forward in life that can be useful puppets, etc, or someone set up to fail against an obstructionist political body (like what happens to many women CEOs).
So you never get any movement back toward the left. But you do get a pressure value release for the public till they get used to the new normal, then we start moving right again and toward corporate neofeudalism.
Biden wasn't supposed to be so successful and so he's a victim of his own success. He actually has made thi gs better for the peasants so that sonof a bitch has GOT to GO.
You can really see this at play by all the old white guys on media and their douchebag rhetoric. It's the same as with Taylor Swift and the Barbie movie. Two things m, recent examples, that were wildly successful that shouldn't have been.
Both won at capitalism. Both did so by their own path, their own rules. Both achieved a huge loyal following by massive mobs of the marginalized.
Same as Biden.
And the corporate bucks and their shills are shitting their pants.
We could have a Black woman as president. Once that happens, they lose their stranglehold. And they know it. The country's values will shift. We'll start moving left again.
Look at the attacks. See how they mimic the vulture vomit rhetoric hurled at Taylor Swift and the Barbie movie. The double standards. How it's identity based. Attempts to pit those marginalized followers against each other. Pandering to white men's fears. They can't find anything to make a moral issue over so they make shit up. It's the same play book that happens to a successful woman being knocked off her pedestal. Almost verbatim.
