The ones on dating sites are. And for a reason. There's money in it.
The ones who are looking for real partnership tend to not stay on those apps long. Also for a reason. They're not looking to be kept and don't need to be.
Though in fairness, we've all tried them and no statement regarding human behavior is ever 100% accurate across the board all the time. Just talking broad strokes. For most of us, once we figure out what's what and how these they work, we leave because it's disgusting and we want no part of it.
But dating the regular way is hard in modern life. There's not the broad social investment in venues for people to socialize in a manner that leads to courtship like there once was. So, a new app will pop up and from ewual frustrstion and desperstion, we'll try it out hoping this one will be different only to be disappointed again. Lather rinse repeat.
Get off those apps, gentlemen. Meet us in the real world.
