The lazy refers to the ones who don't directly benefit or feel threatened by change. Most often, they do recognize that the people advocating for change are doing so for a legit reason. They may not agree with the states outcome of the priposed change mea ing they may or may not believe it will work out as planned or desired. But they DO know those people are hurting, they just don't care enough to put some motion into solving the problem or providing relief. No motivation. No compassion. Happy with the status quo because they're not personally impacted. Okay with watching others suffer so long as you're not put out. In the chemical equation analogy, that makes these people inert molecules.

That's lazy.

Also doesn't matter how big or small and it doesn't have to be about extremes. That's your take, not what I said. We could be talking about something as simple and easy as a baby crying because it's diaper needs to be changed while it's care giver sits around doing anything but because he/she doesn't want to be bothered or we could be talking about addressing mass shootings on the political stage or offering 'thoughts and prayers'. It doesn't matter.
