You'd be surprised. I read in someone else's article recently (sorry, I can't remember who or I'd link it for you) that the difference between men and women is that they are both dying of thirst but for men the terrain is a parched desert but for women the terrain is a mucky swamp. That's not an exact quote, but it was definitely desert vs swamp. And I think that's pretty apt to what's going on.
