The global economy has ripped us all off. That's what the removal of worker protections does....it turns a functioning economy that is good for everyone into a predatory system of exploitation because it only focuses on the benefit of shareholders instead of everyone.

You can't leave less powerful groups to suffer while you benefit and not think that the apparatus of exploitation won't come for you when they're all tapped out. It's going to do what it was designed to do. Always.

Women becoming the breadwinners and working the jobs that are available in the economy we have does not take from men. They too, could choose to work the jobs available to them. They too, could choose to get the education required to get higher paying jobs. They too, could not accept a culture that is simultaneously anti-intectual and looks down on people in trades. And so forth and so on.

On that last one, men making room for women in trades better than they have done would elevate the esteem of trades in the collective conscious.
