The fact that you think romance and live is a performance only proves my point.
Men don't understand love bonds. If you're performing, you're pretending. And there's your fantasy and why you can't have what you want. To be loved for who you are.
How can you be loved for who you are when who you are had been presented as a front, a facade?
You can't.
This is like thinking you love an actor. There's a difference between the character an actor plays and the actual person he or she is.
And this is why women continually tell men that they value authenticity. No one can wear a mask forever. Come as you are, or when the mask falls, the woman you tricked (and it IS trickery) will end up disappointed.
