That's what gender essentialism eventually does. It's inevitable. You can try to walk it back, you can throw the occasional bone that's it's really just general human behavior. Sooner or later, it always lands back to men are this and what they are is good because those are positive things. Women are this and that's less than what men are, or as valuable, and women are bad because they are secondary and subordinate or just plain evil.

Both masculinity and femininity are abstracts that change over time. They are adjectives that describe culturally acceptable presentations and behaviors of gender. High heels were invented for and first worn by men. The color pink was first associated with men and consideredl masculine.
It's a construct. An idea. Those things change and become tools.
