I just think when they are showing signs that may be a behavioral or neurological disorder, you should rule that out before assuming it’s bad parenting.

I’ve been around plenty of holy terrors too. I’ve been some pretty shocking behaviors. I’ve seen kids fly into a tantrum and run into a wall, banging their head. This usually leads to more screaming.

I’ve never seen a kid bang their head repeatedly against a wall just to throw a tantrum. I have seen kids with serious behavioral issues do so.

I’m not an expert on kids and not trying to pretend I am. Just think there’s enough smoke here to warrant an evaluation.
