That's true. It's not always "negative" or "doomer" stuff either. What about all the toxic positivity self help crap that makes everyone's feed? That's the other side of this coin.

What about the mental health affects that causes a lot of readers? The "get up at 5 and drink water" brigade make a lot of people feel like they're not good enough. Like they don't deserve escaping poverty because they literally can't scrape together $100 a month to grow "real" wealth or can't do a side hustle because they're already working 2 or 3 jobs.

They're worse in my opinion because at least JW and UH aren't selling snake oil or false promises. They're Cassandras. Warnings do get repetitive, but that doesn't make them wrong or ill will toward your mental health. Take the warning and move on. Your choice and your responsibility. But let the warning play for someone else who needs to hear it.

Can the same be said for toxic positivity? I'm not sure it can.
