That's true. They didn't get all the work done they envisioned.

I think it's important to note that most sisnt want to ban partnership, they wanted to ban marriage because of it's ties to religious institutions and beliefs that subordinated women.

At least, that was my take away from reading a lot of their work and talking to many of them.

They were probably right. As long as marriage as a religious covenant that gives men headship ober women exists, equality for women can't.
