That’s true. However, if Biden was a sexual predator, you would have expected to see many many more women coming forward. Once that particular dam breaks, it usually breaks wide. That didn’t happen this time.

He’s been in public life for decades. Her accounting happened, what, 20 years ago? Why were there no more allegations over the past 20 years, at least?

He’s been charged with making women uncomfortable by being handsy. Okay, but are they startled or was it sexually inappropriate? From the video evidence shown, he’s no where near groping a breast or a cheek. It’s awkward for sure and an invasion of space but it’s not a sexual assault.

As a woman I’m sick to death of predatory men being elected to office and allegations being sneered at and dismissed as not being unimportant. I was not going to vote for Biden if there ended up being something here, no matter what.

But it’s just too thin. There’s nothing here. He’s not acting like guilty men act. He’s changed the “handsy” behavior. He’s not acting entitled. He spoke against maligning her character even though she accused him. There have been no other accusations or witnesses. He’s not hiding behind women (wives, daughters, supporters) to prove innocence.

Unlike Kavenaugh, Thomas, Clinton, Trump, and many others who I completely believe did what they were accused of for just those reasons. There’s a pattern of behavior in predatory men when things start to unravel that’s hard to miss. Joe Biden doesn’t seem to have it.

I’m also unwilling to hang a man over an unsubstantiated allegation. I don’t need legal level proof beyond a reasonable doubt. I do need at least a civil suit level of evidence and consistency. I expect things to fall along fairly predictable patterns if there’s any truth to it.

The media did report and investigate the allegations. If there was something there, it would have come out. There just wasn’t anything definitive there in the end.
