That's the problem with the male gaze in a feminist sense. The 'male gaze' as expressed by Hollywood puts list and desire in the driver's seat instead of strapped in car seats in the back.

Hollywood has been doing this for ages.

But, the male gaze cannot be applied, again, in a feminist sense, to normal expressions of healthy male desire because that was never the argument and never part of the theory put forth by feminists.
