That’s not what he said. Read the whole sentence. Not just what Steve highlighted. Steve misread that.

Nobody claimed the 1st amendment gives people the right to riot and loot.

They said the media falsely portrayed peaceful protestors, Black Lives Matter, as rioters and looters.

Doing so actually gave rioters, looters, and anarchists cover to go do their thing because protestors had already been blamed. And cities burned as a result. It was journalistic negligence of the highest order.

Speaking of, anyone who lost a business, affected cities, and BLM should ban together and file a class action civil suit against Murdoch, Bezos, and all the other media owners for damages, slander, and whatever else they can throw at them.
