That’s not what’s happening. People are curious. Women in particular. We want to know how to get to that point where having children does not affect your ability to have a career. Any career. What does it take? Because it’s not a reality for 99% or more of us.

She’s under scrutiny because the position she is up for has been drug out under everyone’s noses and the Republicans have made an issue out of her family in an effort to quash Democratic criticism.

This article isn’t about the politics of it all, even if it’s being brought up some in the commentary. This article is about the realities of getting past that barrier. And it is a barrier for most women.
