The word 'Patriarchy' describes a organizing construct of social species, in this case us humans, in which primacy and power are given to males. It's not an absolute, there are other dividing criteria, like race, ableness, sexual orientation, age, etc.

So yes, if you are a man living in a culture organized under the definition of Patriarchy, then you are part of the Patriarchy. BUT!!!!! So is every woman, child, and human of any and every marginalized configuration. We ALL contribute to the culture we exist in.
