That's not true. There were several teachings on these things.

Turn the other cheek, everyone is your neighbor, forgive your enemies, what you do for others you do also for me, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, etc.

You’re wrong about the Catholic church as well. The priesthood is full of paedophiles and murderers. If abortion is murder, no exceptions,.you should be aware that your precious priests have been raping nuns for years and then forcing them to have abortions because the Vatican would rather turn a blind eye and sweep it all under the rug than lift the celibacy requirement. And since all the sexual predators knew the church was a good place to hide and would protect them at all costs, that’s where they went.

There’s a reason the Catholic church is always embroiled in scandal. You don’t get a pass here. The Catholic church is just as full of hypocrisy as the Evangelicals are.
