That’s not true. Humans mate face to face, or ventral side to ventral side mating because at some point in our evolutionary past we were headed back to sea. We could have been mermaids. No joke.
So, like other marine mammals, we lost most of our hair, we developed a layer of subcutaneous fat to keep us warm, our vaginal canals retreated back into the body and moved forward, and we mate face to face like seals, dolphins, orcas, sea cows, and whales. I’m not 100% sure, but it’s probably a safe bet to add narwhales, walruses, and some otter to that list.
