That's not a problem. It is inappropriate for random men to dump their drama and problems on me (women) to fix. They don't know me and I don't know them.

I don't get to do that to them. I don't get to go up to random men in public spaces and whine about how hard it is to be me and expect them to fix it for me.

It is not the job of women to uphold the Commons while men abscond from their fair share. It is not the job of women to carry society while men lag behind screeching and crying that they aren't getting sexed up or molly coddled to their satisfaction.

Do the work. Leave the basement. Get off those dating apps. Go outside. Meet people. Don't treat them like shit or like the owe you something. Build relationships. Of all kinds. With all kinds of people.

THEN.... when you're lonely, as we all are from time to time, you'll have someone appropriate to go to who wants to be there for you because you're already a part of their life. You've invested.

If society is a bank of emotional safety and security, you can't expect to continue to withdrawl and never make a deposit and the bank shouldn't have to chase you down to do it. You boys have been allowed to operate in the red for far too long.
