It's true they worked on some of them together. But the credit rightfully goes to Laura Wilder.

Rose was a writer in her own right. She's published. You can tell from reading them side by side that the voice, language use, structures, etc are from different authors.

Rose absolutely did encourage her mother to write her childhood stories and was influential with getting it in the hands of a publisher.

As I said in my article though, before Laura Wilder write down her childhood stories, she had written for the Mansfield Gazette for years. She had her own column part of that time.
