That’s like the Chicago argument. Did the shooter in that NY shooting you mentioned get the weapon from New York or from a state with laxer restrictions?

Chicago’s gun ban worked. They tracked the guns use in crimes after the ban and found that most odnthrm came from Alabama.

The problem is not that band don’t work, it’s that they’re not being applied across the board on a federal level.
