That's interesting Allison. I knew talking about money was generally frowned upon in British society. It kind of is here too, but because no actual amounts were brought up, it didn't "cross the line". It was just general discussion of the need to make money, which everyone is concerned with.

As far as money goes, I don't mind talking about it in general and if I was interested in someone, it would definitely need to come up and some point. But I'm far more interested in whether or not that person is responsible and smart with their money than how much they make. Finally, I'd consider whether or not this person was a good investment of my time, energy, and my own money based on how financially responsible they are beyond the obvious. What you might call second and third tier type stuff; recklessness that would ruin us. I'm looking to see if this guy has his head shoved up his ass about things that could have a costly penalty that I or any potential children would have to pay as well.

If so? Nope. Next.

Thanks for reading. What were the other red flags for you?
