She's also saying that her oral traditions and stories should supercede the Bering Strait migration even though that happened in Northwest NORTH America and she is an Indigenous woman from Costa Rica or Ecuador (I think). Either way, she's from SOUTH America, a different continent than the one affected by the Bering Strait migration.
