That’s exactly right because there would be no point to writing about it if you felt there was no hope things could change.

That’s why I don’t. I don’t have that hope in humanity any more. I’ve accepted collapse, a hard thunk instead of deliberate mitigated steps of draw down, and a high probability of extinction.

How’s that for doom and gloom?
