That’s disrespectful and demeaning to men to suggest they’re too stupid to figure out how to be involved in their own families and their own lives.

Men are not children. They don’t need to have their hands held. They’re not helpless and they’re not stupid.

Y’all need to stop this. We didn’t like benevolent paternalism when it was done to us for a damn good reason. It’s sick and disgusting. Men are not children who need to be taken care of because they’re too feeble minded to see to their own interests and well being.

So stop dishing out this equally disgusting benevolent maternalism and think you’re helping men. You’re not. You’re just stroking your own egos.
