That's dealing with the mental health issues these folks create. As I said I do the same thing.

But you can't be done with them. That's kind of what Jessica Wildfire's article was about. And that's what I'm getting at.

To use your example, you can Swiss cheese your interactions and associations all day long. But your kids have to go to school with their kids. The safety of your workplace is held or not by their participation in safety measures and your boss's willingness to fire them when they refuse. You buy your groceries in the same place. Sooner or later, you or a family member is going to need a doctor. If they've worn out the healthcare system, which they are, with their hysteria about masks and wishful thinking about her immunity that will land on your door when you need an emergency appendectomy.

As long as you share community with these idiots you cannot be done with them. Sooner or later all that bullshit is going to find it's way to your door one way or another.

The reason I point this out is because it's thr same thing they're doing. Not caring about the commons until it affects them personally. Ignoring a problem doesn't make it go away and being flippant about it to someone who isn't and hasn't is just the same as them.

Again. I'm not pointing fingers because I do the same thing. I just realize that I've become just as numb to community and that there will be consequences.
