That's a false equivalence.

You can't assume the mother had a choice. Also, it's less of an issue now, but in the past birth control pills were much less effective. When you tell a woman she should have abstained, you're doing so assuming she WAS being g irresponsible because she's pregnant. Truth is, you don't know that based on the pregnancy alone.

Men, on the other hand, are notorious for choising to remain ignorant about reproduction and dump the entire responsibility onto women.

And I'm not saying that men can't and don't get raped or reproductively raped. They do. It just happens a whole lot less.

Because the pregnancy doesn't happen in their bodies, it's rare for them to think about it until it's too late. And then they blame women.

And I'm not saying women have no responsibility. I'm saying this blame and shame musical chairs men try to do does not absolve them of responsibility for where they put their sperm. Like I said, there are no do- overs after the fact and until men are prepared to and submit themselves to having their wayward sperm shoved back up their dicks, they can shut the hell up about financial abortions, how unfair pregnancy is, and all that shit.
