That propaganda has been proven false. It's the poverty and chaos or poverty, not the single mom. The group of children doing the absolute best are the ones with single mothers with maternal familial support (meaning mom's family acts as support and economic stabilizing force when needed). These families are doing demonstrably better than traditional nuclear families.

Stop blaming single moms for father's who abandon their children or hold them hostage financially for revenge.
