That moment when they hold their child for the first time. If in that moment, it makes them think of their dad and what their dad did they’ll swear an oath to that child right then and there and they’ll die before they break it.

They’ll promise to be there and not abandon them. No matter what.

One of the other things I noticed was that if the marriage failed, the biker dudes were more likely to go above and beyond to establish a co-parenting routine and they doggedly stuck to it. They didn’t fade away. They still showed up.

A lot of single dads are biker dudes. Our downstairs neighbor’s son is one. She keeps her granddaughter some, helping out her son. She’s happy, healthy, joyful cute as a button. Doing well in school.

Anyways, this guy, her dad, looks like a Scottish biker monster of a man. He’s absolutely terrifying looking, if you go by that stuff, right? He’s got to be around 6’7" (I’m 5’7" and he’s around a foot taller than me), long flaming red hair, long red beard with beard beads, tattoos including two facial tattoos, multiple ear piercings, etc. Finally, he’s got that look, you know?

I always see him in an old pickup truck because he’s transporting his daughter when I see him but I’ve seen pics of his motorcycles. He has at least 3, a Harley, and Indian, and I couldn’t tell what the other one was. They were restored antiques and tripped out. And that’s how he makes money along with occasionally picking up some extra work helping out his mom who is a carpenter. So he sets his own hours as part owner of a shop so if she needs him for anything, he drops everything to care for his daughter. It’s usually him that takes off work when she’s sick to stay home with her and take her to the doctor if needed.
