What about generalities though? If it’s a taboo topic because it’s deigned no one’s business but the family’s how will people learn about them in a balanced way? Not everyone has a fair minded or open family of origin. Most of us actually don’t.

I think the anger coming from women had more to do with sexual exploitation in one form or another, like One and Two in my story and less to do with what men like or don’t like. That feeling of having been done dirty, societal betrayal, and being thrown under the bus. Being seen as acceptable collateral damage or sacrifice.

As far as men’s part in this goes, I think you’re dead wrong here. It’s not evolution, it’s cultural. We live in a culture that prizes virginity, youth, and beauty in women above all else. Men are socialized from birth to value and pursue those things. That socialization is detrimentally harmful to men. Many have zero respect for their sexual selves; virginity culture leads them to treat sex and love like an addict chasing their next hit. We all know where addicts end up; they’ve got the same 3 possible endings they’ve always had.
