That doesn’t mean they’re not behaving like a fascist organization, or at the very least proto-fascist. We have a rough equivalency to how things went down with the National Socialist Party in 1930s Germany. Hitler was elected Chancellor democratically, and following all the rules. The fascism swiftly followed.

Same thing here. There can be little doubt the far right is pushing a fascist agenda fed and fueled by an extremist fundamental theocracy.

We’re not going to be able to vote our way out of this. Realistically speaking, the only way to do so would be to move to certain red districts as a blue voter and overwhelm them at the polls. Our elections have been decided by 3 to 5 “swing" states for years. No other vote really matters on the Federal level. That’s the math.

But liberals don’t want to move to those areas. First off it would be like living next door to the Simpsons, only they’ve been conglomerated with the Flanders. Ugh, speaking from personal experience. One of these days I’ll tell you about Crazy Patsy. Secondly, you still have to live and there are a limited number of jobs and opportunities in these areas. Third, even if you did, it would only work for one election cycle before their Republican led state legislatures gerrymander the districts around to give themselves an advantage again.

As long as the electoral college and gerrymandering exist, this isn’t going to be solved by any political move.

Further one of the primary purposes of the Supreme Court is to protect citizens from laws passed at the federal or state level that potential harm the citizenry. They knew about the state trigger laws. They knew complete bans were amongst them. They knew complete bans would lead to death.

And they wrote and published that stupid dumb ass decision anyways, saying all the things it did.

They have abandoned the citizenry and their purpose in favor of a fascist theocratic takeover.

I don’t care if they got there “fairly" or not. This court is rogue and illegitimate. They are derelict in their duty and should be impeached. But this is a takeover and we all know Republicans will not vote to impeach based on the law or conscience. They’ll vote to protect the next step into fascism because it pays.

These are not the same Republicans as during the Nixon years.
