We'll adapt to having families still, if that's what we want. You all just won't be a significant part of it. We'll stop pursuing relationships with men if men are just going to then be resentful about having one.

Most of us already end up as single moms for a time anyway. We could form civil unions with each other and have every bit the stability marriage offers but now with someone who actively wants to be there and participate without having to be nagged or begged and isn't hellbent on dragging us down to build themselves up.
