That actually has nothing to do with feminism. It has to do with being a parent and having successfully raised a child to adulthood.
And I stand by what I said. You're in for a rude awakening. If you think you're not going to have deal with every bit of this stuff, because you taught your boy better or what have you ....you're in for a rude awakening.
That's not even about boys. That's the culture.
I did not think I was going to have to address a lot of things with Urchling as soon as I did, some at all. And she's always been a super good kid. Very grounded and mindful.
And yet still. She has eyes, she has friends who struggle. She has to live in the world too. Things come at you from the side.
