Thanks. I bet it was confusing as Italian Sage is the sage most commonly grown as the cooking spice and is in many a kitchen garden across Italy.
I personally, would refuse to eat Thanksgiving stuffing without it. Lol.
As I recall, Wild Sage is also pretty common across Italy.
Yeah, there's been an Internet 'flame' war, between Indigenous persons and Wiccan/NeoPagan communities screaming partial or incomplete truths at each other for years now because so many on both sides do not understand that sage grows all over the world and has been important to many peoples across time for many different reasons.
Some listening and specificity would clear a lot of those conversations and hurt feelings up but it's much more fun to rage unintelligently.
