Thanks for your response.
I don't disagree that Feminism has a problem. I just don't think it's what the OP claims. She basically copy/pasted a list of whataboutisms that don't really bear out from the manosphere.
Here's what I think a fair critique of Feminism is, if you're interested. It has the same problem as Christianity. An open door and self identification without scrutiny. In order to be a Christian all you have to do is "be saved" and claim to follow the teachings of Jesus. You don't even have to know what the teachings of Jesus are, have read the Bible, join and regularly attend a church, etc. None of that. You just have to make a public declaration that you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior and say you will follow Him. That's it.
In much the same way, all you have to do to be a Feminist is pretty much admit you are one publicly and say you will follow Feminism.
There are pros and cons to this approach. Leaving the pros aside, the cons are kind of eating us Feminists for breakfast the past few years. Everyone's a feminist because it's popular, whether they're walking the walk or not. Feminism became marketable. Saw that with Christianity too, which means a bunch of people are in it to be part of the "in" crowd, not to make things better for women or to reach parity in social equality. Like with Christianity, meeia has created some "superstars (televangelists)" who are more grifters than anything. And so forth and so on.
As long as that open door policy exists, these things are going to pop up and have to be dealt with.
Have to go walk the dog and get to work. I'll continue this in a bit. Few more thoughts to ad.
