I didn't get the sense that "two - way street" was the point of the article. Seemed more like "why are you fe-males always busting our balls?" right from the start. An excuse rather than an attempt to understand. Yet another attempted gaslight to paint them as victims of feminism.

That's why I focused on the "cherishing" bit. As you said, it's not enough to say it, you have to live it for it to be true. And we're allowed to read now so we can look up what the word means. They can't bullshit their way through their fair share of building and maintaining a relationship anymore.
