Sure thing. I'd be willing to bet that most people DO NOT know the difference between monoculture and heirloom seeds. In truthz you can't always tell other than knowing the source of the seed in question.

I'm also certain most people cannot identify what kind of seeds you might put in their hands in the first place.

But. It's not like you can't learn. It's not like there's any kind of restriction on the basic knowledge. Also, most gardeners are complete geeks about it. It's adorable. They'll talk your ear off and you'll be lucky if you can get away without also having to take enough material tonstsrr your own co-op. They're really great peeps, you know?
