Sure they do. With a degree, you can earn a decent enough living to afford to turn the heater up to a comfortable level.

Or buy yourself a large furry dog. Or a smaller one with a robust BTU of thermal exchange, like beagle. You wouldn’t believe the heat coming off of mine. It could be 30 outside and she’ll have me sweating.

Further, without that man complaining about how hot it is and opening all the windows, kicking off all the blankets, and stuff to keep himself comfortable, being cold is never a real problem in the first place.

It’s just another lame argument from desperate men afraid of being alone with nobody to take care of them.
