Sure. That's true of every belief system, movement, organization, or group dynamic you could name or be come up with.
We're imperfect beings. All of us.
Again, men naturally understand this when referring to themselves, or religions, or political parties, or clubs, or interests, or whatever.
But, by golly, a woman presents herself or ideas as anything short of pure perfection and the mudslinging begins. Everything she has said or stood for and anything even marginally associated with her or her ideas is shredded, torn asunder, and cast into oblivion.
Why do women have to be perfect to deserve space to air out and try our ideas? And to fail the ideal without stricture from every Random Barney who thinks he knows what's what? Like every body else?
A guy says heinous misogynistic things, like Jordan Peterson recently advocating for the enslavement of women again, and men fall all over themselves to get out there, "he maybe spoke poorly but he's a decent guy and let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. He's got some good ideas and we should entertain ideas of sexual slavery so we might learn something we didn't know or hadn't thought of."
But women have to be perfect at all times in all ways to warrant any sort of consideration or fair play.
This guy is all over that scene. Left, right, and sideways.
So how did you think you misunderstood women about ending patriarchy benefitting men too?
