Sure. Life long bachelors have always been an accepted part of society. Sooner or later we all have to face the fact of our impending demise. This is the Spaceship Earth, after all. Ain't none of us making it out alive, as the expression goes.

I've got no idea why the OP decided to write what he wrote in 3rd lerson as though he's speaking for all men or preaching to all women on men's behalf. Maybe he wasn't thinking about it. Maybe he's projecting. Maybe he just meant it as a summary article of other opinions that are out there. Hard to say, and it doesnt matter. It's still a sexist take, regardless of whether or not it's a popular one coming from male authors and commentors.
