Sorry. My dog was crawling all over me. I missed that the highlight and respond I attempted under this duress didn't take. Lol

The No they don't referred to your nexr to last paragraph. This sentence in particular: "Either we control it or the women in our lives will have to live under the constant threat of dying in agony because the government has denied them access to life-saving treatments."

We women are not without agency. Just because on high has decreed we go back to brood mate status doesn't mean we have to oblige.

Like I said, they wanna fuck around and find out....well, more than they thought are willing to play. The birth rate appears to be tanking. We will not have babies under inhumane and unsafe conditions. The backlash against #Tradwife and pronatalist rhetoeic has been immediate and scathing. College rates of young women in red states are crashing. It's not because they're barefoot and pregnant. It's because they're going elsewhere.

And we're still getting wanted abortions, quite easily in most cases.

I think it's quite telling that the people hurt by these bans are children who have been sexually abused and become pregnant as a result of that abuse, medial care professionals who are being prevented from soing their job, and women who wanted families. That's who's being hurt. Women who just want an abortion because they're not ready for motherhood are still getting them for the most part. In the end, women are foinf to do what they need to do like they always have since the beginning of time.

What does it say about these legislators that they are willing to sacrifice children, an entire meeical field, and a growing percentage of women who would be raising these families they need just to outlaw something that cannot, in the end, even be enforced? A lot of these folks have ensed their political career. They don't know it yet. But they have.
