Sorry. Had to get someone credentialed in and Medium drops comments sometimes if you minimize for another app.

I don't recall saying men needing jobs upon return from WWII being toxic. That perception is yours, my guy. I disagree, but whatever. And yes, we all remember Rosie the Riveter.

What I recall saying was that there was a marketing campaign that diminished women to encourage them to leave these jobs for the returning men. Funny you should bring up our girl Rosie. Those propaganda campaigns went from "You can do it!" to "shouldn't you be more worried about your nails? You wanna look pretty for them mens, don't ya? There's not gonna be enough to go around you know cause they all died. It's the over particular girls that get behind."

And muscular Rosie got replaced with simpering, fawning prostating, hyper feminine girls.

Which is kinda weird, considering as a nation, we were gearing up for industrial hegemony in the wake of widespread destruction in Europe. That's clearly an all hands on deck scenario to secure that hegemony.

But no. We had to play chicken with Russia and send half the workforce home to paint their nails. Even though they were the most skilled workers at that point.

Maybe if that hadn't have happened, and we had finally fulfilled the promise, there never would have been a cold war. Maybe we wouldn't have fallen short internationally on the Marshall plan too.

Nothing for everyone reading this far, that although I did not say that men were disposable or didn't deserve jobs, our boy here is quite alright with women who held the homefront being thrown away like they were nothing. Just saying.

Your projection is quite loud, my guy.
