Smiling back. I disagree with you about giving up progress. I do think it will slow down though. But, I also believe that will ultimately be a good thing. We've been progressing to fast, and chaotically.

I also disagree about distance keeping us from our current technology. We've mastered both air and sea travel so that needn't be a factor.

That said, I think we will lose a lot of our technology because we are allowing certain decisions to be made for us that will make a necessary draw down of population more difficult than it needs to be.
