…60 on a scale of 500 on the day I was out — worse than New York City’s, which was historically bad. It was mostly fine particulate matter, which is known to cause heart and breathing problems. I don’t know for sure, but everything suggests I got a dose of it, and even though we kept her home during the worst smoke, my daughter seems to have gotten one, too.
