She's not saying that. She's saying the Trans community haven't exactly been perfect angels here either. Frankly, they attacked her first. Rowlings comment that kicked this whole war off did not say what the Trans community claimed it said. It was not an attack on them. And a bunch of them, or people/bots claiming to be Trans came at her like a bunch of crack addled Incels. Its not let up. Like, at all.
Does it make her subsequent behavior and snarky anti-Trans commentary okay? No, of course not.
There's still that adage though, if you don't want to get in a fight, don't throw the first punch.
It's not a good look for the Trans community to have mobbed around a single person with (virtual) knives drawn calling for her rape and murder for basically saying, "Wait. Before we pass this as a law can we take a beat and think through how this is going to affect another protected group and society at large? Shouldn't we try to answer the logistics questions of inclusion BEFORE we pass the law?"
