She's got a point. When women criticize men or reject men, it's labeled misandry. Even when there's no active hate involved. Any more than selecting grapes at the grocery store instead of apples because the apples aren't looking too good. Doesn't mean you hate apples, it means the apples are looking unappealing and maybe close to rot. The apples are what they are. They're not what you want. Not anymore.

Misogyny is both more widespread and more vitriolic. It's actively hateful. It's often threatening and often casual too.

You just don't see women threatening to throw acid on men's crotches or cut off their dicks or even saying they deserve such abuse the way you see those comments hurled at women.

You don't see slurs of the same caliber. About the worst thing a man gets called is a douchebag. Seems like every other week someone is trying to come up with and popularize a new term to put women down.

It's not as widespread of a club. No where near it. There's not a pink pill community actively spreading hate. Men don't get doxxed by women enraged that they exist and are taking up space.

Most "misandrists" are women who are fatigued and tired of aggressive male behavior. They may vent online occasionally but mostly they want men to leave them alone.

Most misogynists on the other hand really hate women. They want women destroyed at worst and completely subjugated at best. They actively want to hurt women in any and every way they can. They're rageaholics.

So while it's technically true that misandry is a thing, it's nowhere near as pervasive, as vile, or as angry, or as deadly.
