She's got a point. You are kind of selling out, just maybe not in the way her comment suggests.
Your freedom to not be a victim, as you call it, was gifted to you by feminism. Without it, you would not have the rights to personhood you now enjoy to just turn your back on women around the world who ARE still victims and treat them with scorn and contempt as though their suffering is both beneath you and a hinderance to you living your best life with those blinders on.
I hope you did not mean to sound so callously inconvenienced. But you did.

You shouldn't go around spurning feminism as a campaign of being a victim though. Feminism is about accountability to oneself to question and re-evaluate social constructs and narratives. Feminism is about freedom to be oneself, self determination as a citizen. Feminism is about protecting victims and fighting against forces that will always exist that would strip your freedom from you the minute enough of us choose to bow out so we can coast along eating that Matrix steak another commenter was talking about.
