Secret of the NFL is that a lot of professional players have a fair bit of barre work as part of their training as it strenfthens their knees and leg muscles, making them more explosive on the field and reduction of and better recovery from injuries.
My personal thoughts are that basketball and soccer (fútbol) players would benefit from the same realization.
I would not be shocked if Michael Jordan came out and said he owed his phenomenal jump abilities to ballet Barre work.
