Stargate SG-1 had an episode about an AI driven neural link. It killed most of the inhabitants of the dome. The link put the impulse in their heads to walk outside the protection of the dome and then made everyone else forget them. Just saying.

Okay, so, if we can agree that the human brain is analagous to a computer and we can agree that if you put junk code into a computer you get junk out.

Why?!? Oh why? would anyone of sound mind sign up to to have something pumped into their brain that’s been developed by an egomaniacal drug addict? These things are going to be shepherded by an AI that has exactly the same design flaws as the social media AIs. Maybe they should concentrate of fixing that problem before jumping ahead and making it worse.
