Roe v Wade did not impose.anything on anyone. No one was ever forced to have an abortion under Roe.
Total bans on abortions are state sanctioned death. That's an indie burden to the populace, hence the need for Federal regulation.
Plus, bans infringe the liberty of citizens. The entire purpose of having Federally guaranteed rights is to prevent just that and maintain a free and equitable society.
Lastly, this is like the slavery issue and the Dredd Scott decision. If you try to enforce band between states, the states will come into conflict and free trade, travel, and commerce between them will suffer.
The reason we have federally guaranteed rights is to keep certain backwards, greedy, grasping states from ripping the whole country apart because they suffer from superiority complexes.
